Maybe when travelling or when going anywhere, the Self splits up in two: one Self is brought there while the other Self is left at home. During a 40-degree heatwave, on top of a hill near me, I try to establish a link and talk to the Self I left behind, through a blindfolded conversation with the cicadas.
